Topdeck at Snelling Beach is an energy sustainable, beachside escape in a truly unique location on Kangaroo Island’s North Coast. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms we can comfortably accommodate up to ten adults.
Thoughtfully designed to maximise the awe-inspiring surroundings, these specially crafted spaces are the perfect space for new memories to be made.
With imppressive panoramic views across to snelling beach, almost all rooms throughout the house feature huge double-glazed windows with block-out window treatments in each bedroom.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen space allows for easy entertaining and flows effortlessly out to the expansive deck. This space is also home to one of our favourite features, the North-Eastern corner, with its cosy window seat and huge windows that frame the river just like a cleverly captured oil painting. And let’s not forget the cast-iron Cheminees Philippe fireplace.
No matter your skill in the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to cook up a storm, including a pantry stocked with staples, Nespresso coffee machine, two fridges, two ovens, a dishwasher and microwave. A BBQ can be found in the alfresco area too.
At the end of the day, take your pick from one of our four bedrooms, three of which boast king-sized beds. No one likes living out of a suitcase, so unpack your belongings into the built-in robes and make yourself at home. The fourth bedroom features two queen sized beds atop a built in platform — perfect for children, or up to four adults. This bedroom also includes a second television, toys and plenty of board games, making for the perfect hideaway for the kids after dinner. You won’t be disturbed by traffic here and a great sleep is all but guaranteed.
